1.5 What to do before you arrive

By now, you’ve probably already received lots of information from us about important things to do before your degree programme begins. This is a good time to read through the University’s New Students’ Page and make sure that you’ve completed as many tasks as possible from the essential and advisable sections.

This is to make sure you’re prepared and things go smoothly through your induction. This will leave you with more time to enjoy your first few days and have some fun as an Exeter student!

If you’re an international student, you’ll also have some additional tasks to complete at the start of your studies, so please make sure that you read the important information about visas, healthcare and finance to avoid any unnecessary delays.

If you’re arriving from abroad into Heathrow airport, you can also reserve a place on our Airport Collection Service. You’ll be met by our friendly International Welcome Team, with coaches to escort you all the way to Exeter. You must book the coach in advance, further information about booking, cost, and the coach collection times can be found here.
