Look at the University’s New Students’ Guide and complete the essential and recommended tasks under the 'Before you arrive' section. This will help everything go smoothly as you settle into being a student at Exeter.

We expect all new students to be on campus by the start of Welcome Week (Monday 15 September) so that you can attend induction sessions for your programme. If you anticipate any unavoidable delay in arriving due to visa or travel problems, please let us know as soon as possible.


Information for international students

If you're an international student you'll also have some additional tasks to complete at the start of your studies, so please make sure that you read the important information about visas, healthcare and finance to avoid any unnecessary delays. The International Welcome Programme gives you a schedule of what's going on for international students once you arrive at Exeter.

Use the checklist on page 3 of the International Students' Guide as a framework for your planning.

If you’re arriving from abroad into Heathrow airport, you can also reserve a place on our Airport Collection Service that runs on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September 2024. You’ll be met by our friendly International Welcome Team, with coaches to escort you all the way to Exeter. It costs £50 per person, you must book in advance and bookings close on Tuesday 10 September 2024 at 12 noon (BST). For further information, visit our airport collection service webpage
