4.1 Studiosity

The University of Exeter gives you free access to Studiosity for online, on-demand feedback on your written work, as well as one-to-one live tutoring on subjects that you need a little extra support with. It doesn’t replace the guidance you can get from our faculty and on-campus support staff, but rather gives you the opportunity to review your basic knowledge and improve your writing style.

We give you 10 uses of the service throughout the academic year: you can use these whenever you like, but we recommend that you use Studiosity to get feedback on each of your coursework assignments before you submit them for marking.

There are two Studiosity services available to you:

a) Writing Feedback - submit a draft of your work for detailed feedback on your general approach, spelling, grammar, structure and referencing (usually returned within 24 hours).

b) Connect Live - 24/7 one-to-one personalised study skills help with core concepts in areas such as maths as well as general study and writing skills.
