3.9 Welcome Events

Welcome Week on the Penryn campus is your opportunity to explore and discover all that’s on offer throughout your time with us, and to meet hundreds of students from across the two Universities of Exeter and Falmouth. For new undergraduate students, Welcome activities will run from 18th to 22nd September 2023, both online and in person. There is definitely something for everyone!

The Students’ Union have been working closely with all the societies and student groups to put together an amazing schedule of events. There will be a Welcome Fayre on 21 September where you can meet student committees of sports clubs and societies. There will also be an array of local and national businesses in attendance. 

Welcome Week is the perfect time to meet new people, try a new activity, and learn more about Penryn and the surrounding area. However, this isn’t the only time you will have these opportunities, put your wellbeing first and make sure you rest. The SU’s events, sports clubs and societies run throughout the year so you will always have plenty to get involved with. 

We’re excited to all be on campus together very soon and hoping to run as much face-to-face content as possible. In the meantime, here’s a short video to give you a taste of how vibrant our Exeter community can be:
