1.5 Before you arrive: Practical Tips.

Now that you have gotten to know who we are, you may want some information on what to do before your degree programme begins. 

First, some practical tips to get you organised and ready for welcome week:

Home & International Students:

Have a look at the New Students webpages. Explore these pages and particularly the Before you Arrive section which includes information about essential and advisable tasks to work through. You can then be sure that everything goes smoothly through induction and transition, leaving you more time to enjoy your first few days as an Exeter student!

International Students only:

If you’re an international student, you will also have some additional tasks to complete so please make sure that you read the important information about visas, healthcare and finance to avoid any unnecessary delays.

Transport Options

If you are arriving from abroad into Heathrow airport, you can also reserve a place on our Airport Collection Service that runs on 16th and 17th September. You’ll be met by our friendly International Welcome Team, with coaches to escort you all the way to Exeter. It costs £50 per person, and you must book in advance.
