Hi, I'm Abram, currently living in Wiltshire, but soon to move back to my home county (Devon) and move into Exeter. I'm an executive director for a Social Care Company, and plan to use this part-time Psychology MSc (Conversion) to advance my knowledge of the lived conditions experienced by the individuals that we support. Primarily at the moment we are supporting individuals living with Autism Spectrum Condition, learning disabilities, mental health support needs, and challenging behaviours. I am looking to follow the MSc with a PHD, and I will be using my studies as a foothold to establish a new branch of the business in Exeter over the next few years. There will be jobs available! 🙂

Hiya everyone smile! I’m Ivan, and I’ll be doing a BSc in Psychology with a Professional Placement. I live in West London but am originally from Ukraine. I’m genuinely interested in all aspects of psychology and aim to become a Clinical Psychologist in the future. To make this intro less boring though I’ll add that I’m particularly interested in exploring trauma and its effects on thoughts and behaviours, the intricacies of social graces, and how power and prejudice can lead to distress and create a ripple effect. I find joy in being able to help people and I've been told that I'm incredibly empathetic and provide comfort to those around me. Moreover, I believe mental health is equally important to physical health if not more and so it led me to this field. With this course, I hope to strengthen my knowledge and skills further which will aid in me being a good clinical psychologist and essentially help as many people as I can to achieve overall mental well-being.
